POLICE have cordoned off a busy bus stop and underpass in Irvine amid reports of a "medical incident".
Two police cars have blocked off the bus stop in Bank Street while officers have taped off the street and the path which leads to the underpass.
The Times understands Police were called to the scene at around 2.30pm and are "assisting" the Scottish Ambulance service following a report of someone needing medical attention.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Police are in attendance to assist with road traffic following a report that someone was in need of medical assistance."
