WEEKS of preparation and hard work all came together when the Christmas story was told with both style and colour in Fullarton Connexions, writes Stewart McConnell.

Thee annual Musical Nativity detailed the birth of Jesus Christ. Anyone listening?’ Nativity was written by Dorothy Urquhart and performed by both Loudoun Montgomery Primary School and Fullarton Church’s Young People.

More than 300 people packed into Fullarton Connexions to join in the singing and praise, which included some of the teenagers leading the congregation in the signing of a hymn which members of the congregation have been learning during Advent (Across the lands), hand-bells played for ‘We 3 kings of Orient are’ and a raucous version of Fischy Music’s ‘Why Oh Why!?’ The church hosted a meal for the homeless on Christmas Day.
