Irvine’s dedicated band of litter-picking legends were out collecting rubbish around the Beach Park at the weekend.
Nineteen volunteers were out and about gathering a tremendous 25 sack loads of rubbish from the area on Sunday.
The group collected the litter, as well as a few larger items, from Irvine Beach Park, boating pond and the Ayrshire Coastal Path area on January 5.
Thanking volunteers on social media, Irvine Clean up Crew said: “What a haul at yesterday’s clean up. Nineteen volunteers collected 25 sacks of rubbish in just an hour.
“Well done everyone!”
