A BELOVED community centre in the Blacklands’ has now officially become a listed building.
The Nethermains hall, which hosts various community groups in Kilwinning, has been made a C Listed building with Scottish Heritage.
Speaking at Kilwinning Community Council last week, member and Nethermains key-holder Andy Robb told the group the building has now been listed as C by Scottish Heritage.
Nethermains Community Centre is run by the Blacklands Community Association, a not-for-profit charitable organisation which aims to facilitate local clubs, groups and organisations for the benefit of the people of Kilwinning.
The community centre has a main hall, games room, lounge, computer suite and smaller meeting rooms.
