Irvine’s Burns Club enjoyed their celebration of the Bard last week.
Club members held their annual supper in Irvine’s Volunteer Rooms on Friday, January 24.
On Saturday Irvine Burns Club members also layed a wreath at the Irvine statue joined by the other clubs, organisations, and pupils from Greenwood, Irvine Royal and St Matthews Academy.
Later that day David Burns was officially made President, following on Archie Chalmers.
The new Vice President is Margaret Greenlees.
