Cumnock Academy Supported Learning Centre have launched their latest project.

Last year they started a National 2 Course in Images, Graphics and Sounds and National 3 Course in Creating Media Content. This innovative course combines work in video and audio creation and gives the students the opportunity to express themselves creatively. This project was conceived by Mrs Barbara Bolton, Teacher in Cumnock SLC and Stuart Guffie, Tutor with Software Training Scotland, who are aiming to integrate this project into the school curriculum.

Pictured here are some of the students taking part in the project (left to right David Barbour, Mr Bernard Hughes (Teacher in Cumnock SLC), Kera Mayo, Mr Stuart Guffie (STS Tutor), John-Lee Nisbet, Mrs Barbara Bolton (Teacher in Cumnock SLC) and Kerr Wilson) with their finished documentary in which they have archived and preserved how Cumnock Academy was in 2019/2020 before the new school opens this year.
