MARR College encouraged youngsters to talk about their mental health last week as they raised awareness of support available.
The secondary school held a ‘Time to Change, Time To Talk’ day for pupils and staff who also raised hundreds for mental health charities.
Local Ayr mental health support group Minds over Matter attended the event to share their story and speak about issues that can affect young people such as bullying and lonliness.
The school also put on a bake sale and open mic concert to raise cash for Minds over Matter, See Me and Samaritans.
In total £700 was raised.
