An Irvine man has faced charges including assault and robbery as well as allegedly stealing a car.
Jay Thomson, 26, appeared from custody to face charges of assault and robbery, theft of a motor vehicle and two further theft charges.
He was also charged with allegedly driving without a licence, driving without insurance and failing to stop and give details.
Thomson entered no plea when he appeared in private at Kilmarnock Sheriff court this week (Wednesday, February 12).
He was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
