The clean up crew out and about
The Irvine Clean Up Crew were out picking up litter on Sunday.
16 volunteers braved the windy conditions and collected 12 bags of litter from Irvine Beach Park and from the Boating Pond.
Irvine Clean Up Crew said: “Well done to everyone who came along on one of the coldest and windiest clean ups we’ve ever done. We were really encouraged to have six local school pupils who are passionate about the environment as well as Kaitlin from Ayrshire College who is raising awareness about plastic pollution.
