Greenwood ACADEMY combined World Book Day with Fairtrade Fortnight on Thursday, March 5.
A coffee morning was organised by the Fairtrade Committee where people read and enjoyed tasty fairtrade products.
Librarian Gillian Gillespie and Home Economics teacher Debbie Smith promoted the day enjoyed by first and second year pupils.
Debbie said: “We had posters up of what staff were currently reading and also had a scavenger hunt. It was a fun activity.”
