AN IRVINE indian restaurant has sent boxes of meals to frontline NHS staff at Crosshouse hospital.
Lawthron Farm made the generous donation to show their appreciation for the NHS as they battle coronavirus.
A variety of inidian meals, including tasty curries and nan bread was sent to the hospital for staff.
Lawthorn shared heart warming pictures of NHS workers receiving the meals.
They said: "The NHS are at the frontline helping our country battle through this pandemic. We appreciate all the long hours and risk they are putting in.
"So today we donated a variety of Indian meals to the frontline staff at Crosshouse Hospital (Department of imaging).
"To see a smile on their face puts a smile on our face! We will get through this together."
The Lawthron becomes the latest restaraunt to step in and support the NHS through these difficult times.
Last week thousands across Irvine showed their appreciation to the healthcare workers on the frontline of coronavirus, by cheering and making noise from their front gardens.
