Analysis of the 2015 exams prove that youngsters were improving in every area, year-on-year.

In particular the overall performance of S4 pupils was the best to date for North Ayrshire.

The percentage of S4 pupils achieving literacy at Level 4 of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework had risen from 86.2 per cent in 2011 to 93.9 per cent in 2015 – higher than the national average.
