Walker Club members handed in a kind donation for residents in need of support under lockdown.

Dean Anderson and Jim Kilmarnock of the Irvine Walker Club Apprentice Boys of Derry walked on into the Fullarton Community Hub on last week to present a huge haul of shopping for residents in need.

Donna Fitzpatrick of the Fullarton Community Hub said: “Special thanks go out to Dean Anderson and Jim Kilmarnock of Irvine Walker Club Apprentice Boys of Derry for their very kind donation to our food larder and also to the kind people who pop in each day with bags of shopping or items for our wonderful cause.

“We are here to help in any way we can so just give us or any of the other hubs a call and we will try our best to help you.”

Please consider supporting the Irvine Times in whatever way you can – by paying just 90p for a copy of the paper, when you’re shopping for essential supplies for yourself and others, or by subscribing to our e-edition here.
