A SEAMSTRESS has raised more than £100 for the foodbank by making masks to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Bartonholm Gardens resident Jennifer Pless – who runs her own company Made For Nate specialising in children and babies clothes – had put day-to-day business on hold during the pandemic.

She has spent the last couple of week making more than 100 cloth facemasks which have been freely distributed to friends, family and especially to neighbours in Bartonholm Gardens in exchange for a voluntary donation.

And she managed to raise a fantastic £110 for North Ayrshire Foodbank.

Well done from all at the Irvine Times.
