A Kilwinning football academy made a kind donation to help care home residents stay in contact with loved ones.

Kilwinning Community Football Academy presented the gft to Buckreddan Care Home earlier this month, before handing out others to homes across the area.

A spokesperson fro Buckreddan said: “Thank you to Kilwinning Football Academy for donating a tablet so that we can keep our residents in touch with loved ones. What an amazing gift”

A spokesperson for KCFA said: “We have managed to secure a grant in order to support us in providing an online service and helping the members of the community who may not have access to technology, the internet or be able to afford mobile/data top ups.”

“This grant will allow us to keep in touch providing vital services and support at this tough time. We will support our members and communities physical and mental health during these challenging times.”
