A KILWINNING youngster has made it to the semi-finals of Miss Teen GB.

Lucy Daisy Mclaughlin, aged 11, has made it to the semi- finals of Miss Teen GB.

Lucy Daisy is a Primary 6 pupil at Whitehirst Park PrimarY and vice captain of her house,

Her proud mum said she is very excited to be from such a small town and competing in such a big competition.

She added that Lucy Daisy loves playing violin and is part of North Ayrshire Junior Orchestra based at Kilwinning Academy and is a keen dancer, enjoying lessons at Kilwinning’s Susan Fraser School of Dance for ballet, tap, modern, majorettes and highland.

She added that Lucy Daisy is a ‘Kilwinning girl through and through and would be proud to bring the delights of Kilwinning to the competition’.

Miss Teen Great Britain is open to youngsters aged from 10 to 19 where they can make new friends, incredible memories, and celebrate everything positive about being a teenager.
