Irvine Community Sports Club are currently running a programme called ‘Time to Talk’ to support people during the COVID-19 crisis.

The programme has seen members of the club and other volunteers work with over 240 Ayrshire residents over the past month through online chat support.

The club is hoping to extend this to also include telephone support.

Volunteers and staff have also facilitated groceries, prescription pick up and delivery and dog walking for over 250 people.

As part of the Time to Talk project, they have kindly donated hundreds of pounds worth of food to the NHS to help and support front line workers. Well done to all of the amazing staff and volunteers for all your hard work, from everyone at the Irvine Times!
