Plants have been passed out to more than 100 green-fingered youngsters to help get their mini gardens going.

North Ayrshire Youth Services have been distributing the plants grown by rangers at Eglinton Park

A spokesperson said: “We have had a busy day with our veg and flower distribution to young people across North Ayrshire.

"Over 200 plants going out to over 100 young residents from across North Ayrshire to start their own mini planting patch. We can’t wait to see pics of them growing.”
