New Cumnock Community Garden Group were delighted to receive a donation of plants from East Ayrshire Council.
And they have already started planting in the garden and around the village.
Graham and Maureen from the group, with help from some other members, wasted no time in getting to work.
Graham, core member of the New Cumnock Community Garden said: “We started last year when we were given the garden by New Cumnock Development Trust. Since then we have been planting all around the village and really trying to brighten up our community.
“It’s very therapeutic and we are looking forward to expanding our garden in the future and improving the community.”
