A Dreghorn pensioner has been reported for alleged theft after police recovered stolen scaffolding.
Police say the 71-year-old man has now been charged in connection with the theft after officers raided a home in Bute Court.
The theft was reported on June 16, and the property was recovered this morning [Tuesday, June 30].
Police Scotland added that a report will be sent to he Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson said: "Irvine Locality Policing Team officers, in possession of a Search Warrant have recovered stolen scaffolding from a property on Bute Court, Dreghorn.
"A 71-year-old man will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged theft."
