Constable David Whyte was rushed to hospital from the scene after he and five others were stabbed in the attack.
The 42-year-old is the second victim to be released from hospital, after another was released on Tuesday.
The others injured were men aged 17, 18, 20, 38 and 53. Two are staff members at the hotel and three are asylum seekers.

He said: “I would like to thank the medical staff at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for their outstanding care in the hours following this incident.
"Finally, I would like to thank the public for all their kind messages of support and for the good wishes from all at Police Scotland."
