A youngster from St Matthew’s Academy recently held a socially distant tea party event to raise funds for the Ayrshire Hospice.
Ami Paterson, age 14, raised a fantastic £270 for the Ayrshire Hospice after having a tea party, which many people donated to, as well as Mcdonald’s in Stevenston who donated coffee cups.
Cancer survivor and charity campaigner Suzanne Fernando MBE BCAh was also invited along to the marvellous social distancing party.
Suzanne said: “This charity is particularly close to my heart having lost a good friend who sadly passed with cervical cancer.”
Ami would like to thank everyone who made donations and came along to the charity tea party.
