Marymass organisers are calling for musicians across the area to get involved in making this year’s virtual festival as magic as can be.

Singer’s, musicians and bands are asked to get in touch with a video of their talents as organisers plan virtual celebrations for Irvine’s ancient and traditional festival during the pandemic.

A spokesperson said: “We are looking to feature a whole host of local talent as part of this years Virtual Marymass. Whether you are a singer, songwriter, pianist, drummer, piper or something else, we want to hear from you.

“We would be looking for a short recorded video to feature on social media during the festival this August. If you are interested or want to learn more, drop us a message and we’ll chat more.

“It is so important to focus on local talent and indeed the arts industry, we look forward to showing everyone what the talented locals have to offer.”
