Crosshouse Children’s Fund volunteers are encouraging everyone to get in the habit of wearing masks – with the Oor Wullie statue outside the hospital leading by example.
The volunteers, who are doing their bit to support the hospital, encourage everyone else to do theirs to help our NHS heroes on the frontline.
A spokesperson said: “We’re proud to be supporting NHS Ayrshire and Arran through COVID-19 with our volunteer support at Crosshouse.
“Great to see our pal Oor Wullie doing his bit keeping everyone safe and smiling with his very own face covering too.”
The Crosshouse Children’s Fund aims to enhance hospital experiences for patients by providing enhanced equipment and support services that can help to alleviate the worries of a hospital visit.
