The North Ayrshire Wellbeing and Recovery College were able to use some funding to purchase six Amazon Fire Tablets and four wifi dongles to loan out to students to allow them to engage on Zoom.
Molly and Trish delivered these tablets to some of the students in time for the college Celebration of Learning Event.
North Ayrshire Wellbeing and Recovery College had posted completion certificates to all the students.
Jeanette Allan, college co-ordinator said: “This was truly a celebration and thanks to all involved. It was wonderful to hear from students, peers and tutors and we were delighted that HSCP confirmed the continuation of the college for the next 18 months.”
The Recovery College adapted very quickly to the challenges of lockdown – they worked with tutors to redesign courses so that online delivery became the new method of learning. More than 60 students engaged with zoom courses, with over 500 attendances during the first 13 weeks of COVID-19.
