The Ayrshire Cancer Support charity are asking golfers to help people living with cancer in Scotland’s Home of Golf.
Wednesday, July 22 saw a new fundraising initiative launched in the hope that the thousands of golfers across Ayrshire sign up to raise money for Ayrshire’s leading cancer charity.
They were inspired by two of their long-time supporters, Sally Hamilton and Liz Keohone, who last week undertook their own 4,3,2,1 challenge, raising almost £3000 playing three rounds of golf in one day.
Sally sits on the board of Ayrshire Cancer Support and is committed to raising money to deliver services.
The Golfathon consists of playing three, two or even one round of golf in the same day.
Register your team on their website www.ayrshirecs.org
You have from July to September to play (when it is safe to do so in line with Scottish Government guidance) and raise as much money as you can.
Please visit their website www.ayrshirecs.org for more info and to sign up.
