Police in East Ayrshire recently held a day of action in response to local road safety concerns relating to the A71.
Chief Inspector Steven Meikle, Area Commander in East Ayrshire, said “Road safety is a priority for local policing. On a daily basis officers patrol the road network and aim to positively influence the behaviour of all road users through a mix of education and enforcement.
"I would encourage anyone with concerns in their area to contact their local policing team by calling 101.”
