Irvine’s clean up crew has welcomed new members to its ever growing band of litter-picking legends.
Irvine Clean Up Crew, which tackle areas of mess and previously secured the town a Beautiful Beach award and flag have continued to recruit new eco-warriors despite most group cleans being off for now.
A spokesperson said: “Say hello to our new volunteers! Mum Kirsty contacted us for a litter picking kit, so Lexi and her daddy Gary wasted no time and cleared their local play park today.
“Little sister Lucy was just too small for the litter picker but she loved dressing up in her hi-viz vest. Thanks guys!”
