AYRSHIRE’S Doors Open Day has gone digital this year so people can still enjoy behind the scenes of our most famous buildings.
Despite the coronavirus pandemic leading to the usual planned events being cancelled, organisers from the Kyle and Carrick Civic Society have arranged virtual tours to several buildings.
Those who join in will be able to learn all about the Kilwinning Papingo is and see the views from the top of the tower.
Another highlight will be to learn what they do with shaving cream at Auchincruive St Quivox Parish Church and the online tour will show behind the scenes at Gaiety Theatre.
The Doors Open Day is nationally coordinated by the Scottish Civic Trust you can find out more at www.doorsopendays.org.uk.
