A house went on fire in Castlepark today with the blaze being treated as non suspicious.
Emergency services were seen driving into Castlepark just before noon today following the call-out to Shiel Place today [September 30].
Police added that no one was inside the property at the time and that the fire is being treated as non suspicious.
A spokesperson said: "At about 11.42am on September 30, police attended a call regarding a house fire in Shiel Place, Irvine.
"The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were in attendance, no person was within the property at the time.
"The fire is being treated an non suspicious".
The Scottish Fire and Rescue service were contacted regarding the call out.
