The sun was shining for St Bridget’s Primary School last Wednesday as they geared up for a day of gardening.
The pupils set off on a visit to the allotments where they spent some time picking some lovely fresh vegetables. All the kids had a great time learning about harvesting and how to look after the garden properly.
A staff member from St Bridget’s primary said: “The quantity and quality of produce is staggering – what a bumper harvest we have this session.”
They added: “Thanks to Ronnie for looking after our beds for us.
“What a star he is.”
