Two young men have been charged after causing a disturbance at a nightclub in Irvine.
The pair, aged 19 and 21, were both arrested and charged after allegedly causing disorder at Pitcher's Bar and Nightclub just after 9pm last night [Thursday, October 9].
Both have since been released by officers on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date to face the charges.
Sergeant Raymond Ferguson, of Irvine Police Station, said: "We can confirm that two men, aged 21 and 19, have been arrested and charged in connection with a disturbance within premises at Bank Street in Irvine.
"The incident was reported around 9.05pm on Thursday, October 9.
"The men are expected to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court at a later date."
