AYRSHIRE College students will still be able to celebrate their academic achievements this year with a virtual graduation ceremony.
An online ceremony will be taking place on Friday, November 6 for the class of 2019/20.
Ongoing COVID-19 restrictions surrounding indoor events have resulted in the cancellation of college’s usual graduation ceremonies at Ayr Town Hall, the Grand Hall in Kilmarnock, and the Abbey Church in Kilwinning.
However, the college is determined to make sure the hard work of its students, particularly in such a difficult year, is celebrated in style.
A unique virtual event has been organised at 7:30pm on Friday 6 November 2020 to mark the achievements of HND graduates and non-returning HNC graduates across 10 curriculum areas.
Graduates are encouraged to hire a gown as they graduate from the comfort of their own home and share their photographs on social media #ayrshiregrads.
