Secondary pupils have been getting ready to celebrate Hallowe’en in style in home economics class.

Pupils at Greenwood Academy have been busy making the textile decorations just in time for the big event this weekend [Saturday, October 31].

Pictured are Greenwood Academy pupils Melissa and Jess showing off the pumpkins they made.

As well as the traditional Jack o’ Lanterns, youngsters also stitched together a selection of ghosts, bats and black cats last week.

A spokesperson for Greenwood Academy said: “S1 pupils Melissa & Sarah from 1M2 have been busy in textiles making pumpkins for Halloween!

“They look great!”

Well done to all the talented youngsters from all at the Irvine Times!.
