FIREFIGHTERS helped remove a woman from a car following a crash in Glasgow's South Side.
The woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after the 999 rescue on Friday afternoon.
The crash involving two vehicles happened on Herries Road at around 1 pm.
Titwood Road was closed to all traffic between Dumbreck Road and Herries Road while 999 crews were at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Emergencies services are currently in attendance after a crash involving two vehicles on Herries Road in Glasgow which happened at 1pm.
"A woman has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman added: “We were alerted at 1.10pm on Friday, October 30, to reports of a collision involving two cars on Titwood Road, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene.
“Firefighters removed one woman from a car and handed her into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service who took her to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
“Crews currently remain in attendance.”
