Cumnock Community Council representatives laid a wreath at the local war memorial site on Sunday, joining many other locals in paying their respects on Armistice Day.

The officers of Cumnock Community Council, councillors Helen Mclean, Hugh Murdoch and David Elliot, laid a wreath on behalf of the Community Council on Remembrance Sunday at the war memorial site in Cumnock Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there was no parade this year.

However the officers did not want the day to pass without laying a wreath in tribute to the fallen.
