GREENWOOD pupils worked up a sweat last week as they tried their hand at Thai boxing techniques.
The Irvine secondary school’s S3 Skills Academy pupils at were hard at work on their fitness last week while enjoying the great outdoors.
As part of the pupils’ health and wellbeing course, the youngsters tried their hands at some Muay Thai Boxing techniques – which had some of the kids jumping with joy.
Muay Thai, also known as Thai boxing, is a combat sport using stand-up striking and clinching techniques– with a lot of emphasis on use of the fists, elbows, shins and knees.
