Children in North Ayrshire schools are to receive book donations in an attempt to support their mental health.

James Frew Ltd are kindly donating a selection of books that advocate for children’s mental health.

The books will be given to 20 North Ayrshire primary schools within Stevenston, Saltcoats, Kilwinning and Ardrossan.

Usborne books such as ‘The Unworry Book’ and ‘Looking After Your Mental Health’ will cater to all primary aged children to help support them with any worries or anxieties that they may be experiencing during these ever changing times.

The schools are delighted to receive these books during such a difficult time for children and the company are proud to be able to give something back to the local community after young people have had to adapt to so many changes this year due to COVID-19.

Managing Director Roddy Frew said: “We are delighted to be supporting our children and young people with the supply of these wonderful books.”
