A male driver and passenger have sustained injuries after being involved in a road traffic accident on the A736 near Kilwinning yesterday.
The incident took place on the afternoon of Sunday, January 10, near to the Blair Tavern situated on Lochlibo Road in the town.
One of the men, aged in his 20s, was also issued with a fixed penalty ticket following the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4pm on Sunday, January 10 2021, police attended a report of a one vehicle road traffic crash on the A736 at the junction of the B778 near to the Blair Tavern.
"The 22-year-old driver and his 22-year-old male passenger sustained minor injuries.
"A 22-year-old man was issued with a fixed penalty ticket in relation to a road traffic offence."
