Time is running out for groups in North Ayrshire to be in with a chance of landing a community grant.
Sunday, January 31 is the deadline for anyone who believes their idea for a project should secure the cash from North Ayrshire Council.
Anyone from North Ayrshire can bid for funding for ideas but they must be projects that will make a difference to the communities.
Once the applications are in they will be shortlisted and then put to a public vote who will decide which projects will have the biggest impact on the communities where they are based and bag the cash.
Funding bids are available for three areas of community work:
- Youth
Groups can be given up to £1000 for projects that focus on working with young people. They can relate to health and wellbeing; poverty; giving them a voice and digital connections within the community.
