AN IRVINE woman has completed a virtual 70k cycle from home in memory of her dad.
Emma Wilson set herself a challenge to complete 70K on her exercise bike over 10 days for the Ayrshire Hospice after the care they gave to her father.
Emma said: “My dad was in the hospice after a long battle that was sadly lost.
“The Ayrshire Hospice requires vital funds to keep the amazing service open, especially now during the pandemic. Any donations are greatly appreciated no matter how small.
“This will be a challenge for me as I’m not the fittest and well, lockdown eating has a lot to answer for.”
Emma completed her challenge over just six days and raised a terrific £208 with the Ayrshire Hospice thanking Emma for her efforts.
If you would like to set yourself a challenge and raise funds for the Ayrshire Hospice an win yourself a special medal you can sign-up for its Virtual Fitness Festival for free at www.ayrshirehospice.org/Event/virtual-fitness-festival-?
