A KILWINNING woman admitted threatening behaviour to shop staff and cheating a taxi driver out of a fare.

Sarah Duff, 37, admitted threatening behaviour in the Caldon Road Co-op by shouting swearing and making violent threats to staff on January 13, 2019.

The Garnock Court resident also admitted possessing and supplying class C drug Etizopam in the Princess Street Hostel on May 8 2019.

She pled guilty to a thrid charge of using a taxi from Crosshouse Hospital to the Victoria street Hostel without paying or intending to pay the £25 fare on August 25 that year.

Defence solicitor Peter Murray said Duff accepted these were “serious matters” but that “significant drug problems led to her chaotic lifestyle” and she was no longer using.

She was given a community payback order involving one year drug supervision.
