Two people were attacked with a knuckleduster before a man had his pockets rifled through in a horrific assault.
Irvine man William Berrie, 32, admitted repeatedly punching and kicking the man in the head and body, while acting with others, in Warrix Avenue on November 10,2020.
Broomlands resident Berrie, now of HMP Kilmarnock, then struck him on the head with the knuckleduster to his injury before stealing money from his pockets.
Berrie then attacked a woman by repeatedly hitting and kicking her before striking her with the knuckduster in the same property on that date to her injury.
He also admitted breaking his bail restrictions during the incident.
Berrie was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at a later date.
