UNDERHEUGH Ark animal rescue centre near Inverkip is asking for the support of local businesses and supermarkets.
The facility is looking for help to pay food bills for the poultry and small animals it houses there.
A spokesperson said: “Our food costs are massive just now and we are appealing to any shops or supermarkets who have out of date food that can’t go to foodbanks to give to us."
