Primary pupils had a fun start to World Book Day after being presented with gifts in the playground.
Youngsters at St Winning’s Primary were excited to recieve the gifts during the annual celebration of reading and literature – after the kids recently returned to school amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
World Book Day aims to promote reading for pleasure, offering every child and young person the opportunity to have a book of their own.
