Man, 45, arrested for assault and robbery at Ayr supermarket
A 45-year-old man has appeared in court in connection with a robbery which took place in Ayr last week.
Andrew John Spooner, who resides at an address in Ayr, was charged for assault and robbery in relation to the incident which took place at the Farmfoods store on Main Street, around 6.40pm on Friday, March 26.
The man appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court on Tuesday, March 30 and entered no plea.
He will be committed for further examination and remanded in custody until his next appearance in court, expected to be on April 7.
