A KILWINNING man faces charges of assault, damaging property and alleged threatening behaviour.

Connor McKnight, 26, faced five charges when he appeared from custody at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court for a full committal hearing last week [Thursday, March 25] after a previous hearing the week before.

McKnight stands accused of two charges of assault to injury and an allegation of causing fear and alarm through threatening or abusive behaviour.

McKnight, whose address is currently listed as Kilmarnock, also faces a further two charges of wilfully or recklessly damages any property belonging to another.

No motion was made by the procurator fiscal during the hearing with McKnight not yet entering a plea to the charges.

McKnight will remain in custody with his next appearance to be confirmed.
