THE pitches at Kilwinning Sports Club are back in action with young players enjoying a session with coaches from Rangers Football Club on Monday.

After their training session it was time to take part in a game to put their new skills into practice.

The club hosts regular sessions at the sports club with the youngsters being able to learn new skills from some of the top coaches.

Kilwinning Sports Club is getting ready for a busy two weeks of Easter holiday activities.

From Monday, April 5 until Thursday, April 8 there will be Mini Kickers at the club from 10am to 10.45am.

There will be football coaching for primary one to three pupils from 11am to 12.30pm.

And from 1pm to 2.30pm the coaching will run from 1pm to 2.30pm.

The same sessions will run during the week of April 12 to 15.

Spokesperson for Kilwinning Community Sports Club, Colin Hunter, said: “It’s great to be getting things back open again and the Rangers Football Club sessions are always very popular with the young players.

“The Easter camps are always busy and it’s good to be able to host them this year. As we come out of lockdown it will be great to get things up and running and welcome the kids back to Kilwinning Sports Club.”
