Irvine’s dedicated band of litter-picking volunteers were thanked for their ongoing efforts after collecting 14 bags of rubbish at the weekend.
Among the haul, the volunteers also found an abandoned tent, several traffic cones and a trolley.
A spokesperson for Irvine Clean-up Crew said: “Thanks to the team who cleaned up around the Beach Park this morning.
“The blitz of the area made a huge difference. 14 bags of litter as well as a tent, four traffic cones and a trolley.
“Thank you volunteers.”
