Emergency services rushed to the A737 this morning after a crash.
An eyewitness said that there were two police cars and an ambulance on the scene after a two-vehicle collision at around 9.45am this morning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.45am on Friday, April 30, we received a report of a two vehicle crash on the A737, south of Dalry roundabout towards Kilwinning.
“Emergency services are currently in attendance."
Traffic Scotland have since confirmed that the road reopened in both directions Dalry - Kilwinning at 12.15pm.
